Houman Mahboubi leads his life with love, kindness, generosity, and a deep-seated desire to help people live their best lives. Born in Tehran, Iran, Houman emigrated to the United States at the age of six. Growing up in Beverly Hills and Bel Air, he graduated from Beverly Hills High School and the University of Southern California (USC). He started his career in his family’s real estate business.

At 23, Houman ventured into the entertainment industry, a move that would shape his future in profound ways.

Early on, Houman met Allan Jay Friedman, forming a partnership that would become a cornerstone of his professional and personal life. Allan and Houman shared a unique bond, both spiritually and creatively. Together they founded Picture Book Productions. Their vision was to bring beloved stories with empowering messages to life with music on stage and screen.

After ten years in entertainment, Houman went back into real estate. For the past 20 years, he has focused on commercial real estate, in the high luxury retail world of both leasing and sales. He is an independent commercial real estate dealmaker, advisor, and consultant. Houman brings a unique blend of honesty, dignity, and responsibility to his work. His wife, Maria, describes his gift for inspiring people in everything he does. He advises in an honest and respectful way, and forms partnerships based on mutual understanding and trust.

Houman’s life is guided by divine interventions and timing. He believes in the importance of gratitude and the power of a positive mindset. He says life is a roadmap coded from the moment we are born, and it is our task to decipher it through our words, actions, thoughts, and connections. Family and Personal Life

Above his professional achievements, Houman considers his family his most valued accomplishment. He's married to his soulmate Maria. They have three children: an 18-year-old daughter who is talented in music, a 15-year-old son who excels in basketball and academics, and an 11-year-old daughter who is a natural leader. Houman and Maria also have two dogs, Ryder and Ginger.
